I can't say whether the Owl Carving upon the lid of this Personalised Wooden Pencil Case is Wise - But he is certainly Smart! The lid of the Wooden Box is a slide on lid by means of a grooved inset and magnetic catch to hold it closed. We have a wide range of Wildlife Themed Wooden Pencil Cases and Pencil Holders and just like our Little Smart Owl here they are all carvings which gives them their Individuality and Charm. Pencils: We currently supply a choice between a full set of 12 HB (lead) or Coloured Pencils. We do NOT use economy pencils but rather Staedtler or Derwent Lakeland Ranges which have the Pencil Colour on each pencil - Fantastic Pencils for the Colour Blind. Personalisation: The Pencils can have up to 24 characters (including spaces) and they are Personalised via Gold Blocked Hot Foil Printing. This is old technology because nothing modern can match the results but please note that all pencils will be in 12 point Capitals and only Helvetica Type Font is used as each letter and number is individually placed into the printing press - some grammatical symbols are also available such as commas, Stops, & signs, hyphens and apostrophes. The Pencil Case has a plaque which can be engraved with a name or short message - around 30 characters.
